The Five Modules of the 5 W's of Personalized Learning Standalone eCourse include:

Module One: What is Personalized Learning?
This first module is for you to define what is and what is not personalized learning. Review the Personalization vs. Differentiation vs. Individualization (PDI) chart, the report and read the research included about personalized learning.

Module Two: Who are your Learners?
To transform learning for all learners, it is important to know who your learners are. We will provide an understanding about how learners learn best using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as the lens and the framework for personalized learning.

Module Three: Wow ! Teacher and Learner Roles are Changing!
We will walk you through the Stages of Personalized Learning Environments. When you personalize learning, teacher and learner roles change. Teachers can become co-designers, co-learners, guides, and partners in learning with their learners. We will provide examples, models, and research around creating change.

Module Four: Where is Personalized Learning Happening?
See and hear about Personalized Learning environments. We will introduce you to the transformative and global perspectives and then share characteristics from district and school models. We will follow with examples of flexible learning spaces.

Module Five: Why Personalize Learning?
This is the session on the rational why you believe personalizing learning is important for all learners. You can use the research we provide to help you connect the dots of your initiatives under the Personalized Learning umbrella. You can also create a 60 second speech and plans to personalize learning with the information you learned in this course.
